common problem
child seat
As APL is classified as a reservation service, the expectation under the law is that there is sufficient advance notice for the installation of child seats, which is different from the nature of taxi services.
Therefore, under Australian law, all children under the age of 8 must ride in an infant seat, child seat or booster seat, as determined by Australian law.
There is a $ 10 fee per seat for infant seats, child seats and booster seats.
While drivers will do their best to safely install child seats, parents / guardians are strongly encouraged to check before the journey begins and make adjustments as necessary. Drivers are trained to install child seats, but they are not professional installers and parents / guardians are expected to ensure the safety of their children as they would in their own vehicle. The driver, infant seat, child seat or booster seat provider will install the child seat, but the parent / guardian will maintain it to ensure the safety of the child.

What if my flight arrives early?

All vehicles and drivers have a set schedule and in some cases you may need to wait if your flight arrives early. We keep track of all flights and make every effort to pick you up as soon as possible, but we cannot guarantee that we will pick you up before your scheduled time.

You must contact us as soon as possible to inform us of the flight delay and we will wait one hour after your flight lands. Waiting time charges will then apply.
